National Indigenous Peoples Day
Mountain View School Division would like to honour and acknowledge June 21st as National Indigenous Peoples Day. Today is a great day to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis People within our communities. Earlier this year, Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning released Mamàhtawisiwin: The Wonder We Are Born With – An Indigenous Education Policy Framework. MVSD Activity Time Program
Mountain View School Division is offering an online Activity Time Program for children born in 2017 or 2018. There is no cost and the program will have songs, finger plays, stories, crafts and more! Registration is required to receive your code to access a private video at your convenience. Supplies will be provided for you to pick up at your local elementary school! The Hon.
