Free WiFi for Students

Free Wi-Fi is offered once again in every MVSD community for students who are engaging in online learning! The service is available Mon-Fri from 8 am - 8 pm. Students are asked to remain in their vehicles while working on assignments to abide by social distancing guidelines. Click on the link for hotspot locations.

MVSD 2021-2022 Division Plan

On Monday, September 27, the Mountain View School Division Board of Trustees approved an annual divisional plan for the 2021-2022 school year. Please click on the above link for more information and to review the plan.

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month

The Hon. Cliff Cullen, Minister of Education, has proclaimed October as Dyslexia Awareness Month to foster a better understanding of dyslexia and its impact on learning and well-being.

Raise Your Hand - Virtual Town Hall

Manitoba students in grades 7–12 are invited to join Dr. Joss Reimer,
medical lead on the province’s Vaccine Implementation Taskforce,
and Dr. Brent Roussin, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Raise
Your Hand, a provincial student-led live town hall on COVID-19

Manitoba School Library Day

The Hon. Cliff Cullen, Minister of Education, has proclaimed Monday, Oct. 25th as Manitoba School Library Day. The theme of the day is "Reconciliation and the Library Learning Commons: Every Child Matters." In celebration of this day, schools are encouraged to participate in the Manitoba School Library Association's "Drop Everything and Read" challenge.

September - LOST and FOUND items

HES Families,

Please note the above two photos of Lost and Found items that have been accumulated over the Month of September. We will be asking our students to check this table until Friday to claim any of their items.

If you notice any items on the table that belong to your child, please call the School, 638-4653, and we will arrange to have them sent home.

Any items not claimed after this Friday, October 15th, will be donated to Parkland Crossing.

Just a reminder, to label your child's items (jackets, sweaters, etc.) to make returning these articles easier for the school. Thank you!
