Registration for Kindergarten classes for HES will be held from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm on Tuesday January 28th. Kindergarten orientation will occur at a later date.
To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2025. Documentation showing proof of age will be requested at the time of registration and is required prior to admission. If your child does not currently have a birth certificate and you wish to apply for one, forms will be available at the school. Please also bring your Manitoba Health card.
Contact your catchment area principal or the school board office for details regarding schools of choice. If you wish to send your child to a school other than your catchment area school, you must submit a school of choice application form by May 15, 2025. Forms are available at each school and on our website at www.mvsd.ca.
Please note that we are particularly requesting this information for any families who may not be receiving messages through See Saw. If you know anyone in our community or circle of friends who will be sending their child to Kindergarten at HES and may not be receiving this notice, kindly pass along the message to them.
