Breakfast Program

Our Daily Breakfast Program at HES will begin on Monday, September 18th, 2023.  Students are welcome to come through the Main Entrance doors to access the breakfast program, based out of the canteen across from the Main office.  Breakfast choices may include a piece of toast, cold cereal, and/or fruit/vegetables at times. 

Daily, at Henderson Elementary School, we offer a breakfast program from 8:30 – 8:45 from the school canteen. If your child does not receive breakfast at home, as a result of any early bus, late wake-up or a simple shortage of breakfast food, they can come in the school to receive tummy filling oatmeal, toast, cereal, etc. instead of just a couple pieces of food that they were receiving with the old system.  We do still encourage you to send your child to school after they have had breakfast though. We will offer breakfast choices depending on the availability of cereal, bread, fruit, etc and we are not able to cater to the specific requests of a child, unless they have an allergy.

SNACKS - We ask that you send your own snacks with your child.
